Inner and Outer guidance for a better you
Six steps to a Healthier and Happier you

Balance in all things is critical to maintaining health, not only physical
health, but emotional and spiritual health as well. In the hectic drive of
today's world, many women forget to take care of their most important asset:
themselves. In an effort to help people of all ages learn to take care of and
nurture themselves, here are six easy ideas you can use to bring balance and harmony
into your life.
Exercise
For years, we have heard how exercise is an integral part of achieving and
sustaining good health. Exercise does more than keep your heart healthy and
toned. Exercise improves the performance of your lungs. It improves your
circulation by increasing the exchange rate of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the blood.
Exercise activates many internal mechanisms, which help to cleanse and tone
the body. Exercise also stimulates endorphins, which help to reduce stress,
fight depression and lift your spirits.
Exercise is not only aerobics, weight lifting, cycling or jogging. This level
of exertion isn't necessary to have and maintain balance in our lives. If you
are not engaged in any kind of exercise program, begin one. Simple acts such
as walking, yoga and even stretching can have a beneficial effect on your body
and spirit. Incorporate one of these activities into your daily routine. Pick
a specific time of day. Give yourself five or ten minutes a day to work on
your physical well-being. As you become comfortable with the activity, increase
its length. Add another five minutes every week or two. Is this asking too
much for yourself?
Eat Right
Eating right is another key toward having and maintaining health and balance
in your life. As our society changes and the pace of life accelerates, many of
us get trapped in the idea that faster is better. How many times have you
found yourself getting frustrated as you sit in your car waiting in line at a
fast food restaurant? Or watching as the clock ticks away, counting down the
seconds until the microwave announces that your food selection is ready?
In order to fuel the fires of our being, we need to consume the right blend
of nutrients in order for our bodies to function correctly. Would it surprise
you to find out that many of the fast and convenience foods available today
lack many of the vitamins and minerals we need? In fact, the main components of
many of these foods include white flour, saturated or hydrogenated fats and
sugar. While they may taste good and fill our non-discriminating stomachs, they
lack nutritional value. They are just empty calories.
Eating healthy is easy. Reduce or eliminate processed or convience foods from
your diet, replacing them with whole grains, chicken and fish. Try to
incorporate a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables into your food regimen, and aim
to eat a leafy green salad and a piece of fruit daily. Even with these small
changes in your diet, I think you will create a healthier, happier you.
Take Vitamins and Minerals
Hand in hand with eating healthy is the use of vitamins, minerals and
nutritional supplements. Food production has dramatically changed the nutritional
value of the foods we eat. As plants grow, they absorb minerals from the earth,
making them available to us in a form our bodies can utilize. Modern farming
has stripped the soil of many of the minerals we require. Common industrial
fertilizers, while providing the plant with the basic nutrients it needs to grow,
lack the full spectrum of minerals originally found in the earth, many of
which we ultimately need to survive.
Even individuals who consume a healthful diet may lack certain essential
vitamins and minerals. By taking a high quality vitamin and mineral supplement,
you will be taking yet another step toward ensuring you are getting all of the
nourishment your body needs.
Reduce Stress
Stress is a word we are all too familiar with. If it is not the job, it is
the kids. If it isn't the kids, it is some unexpected expense you haven't
budgeted for. Let's face it: stress is accepted as a basic part of our lives.
When we are whole in body, mind and spirit, we do not experience stress. We
experience stress when we choose to hold onto energies and emotions as opposed
to accepting them and allowing them to flow through us, or "to roll off our
backs." Many times, fear is the underlying emotion that traps us. While we may
not consciously realize it, there is always some part of us that is afraid. We
are afraid to let go or afraid to make changes in our lives, even if these
changes will bring us a sense of peace and harmony.
Stress reduction is an integral part of bringing balance back into your life.
Stress has been identified with burnout and fatigue, a lowered immune system
and an increase in free radical damage. There are a number of simple things
you can do to help reduce or eliminate the stress you are experiencing.
Meditation, for example, is a great technique for stress reduction. Meditation can be
either active or passive. Active meditation includes exercise, drawing or
dancing. Even activities such as doing the dishes or raking the lawn can have a
relaxing therapeutic effect. Meditation can also be passive, utilizing
techniques such as concentration, breath control and creative visualization. Each of
these activities distracts the conscious mind and allows unwanted thoughts and
emotions to flow through and away.
There are times, however, that the only way to eliminate stressors from our
lives is by making behavioral or lifestyle changes. These changes can include
quitting an undesirable job, ending a failing relationship or even saying "no"
to a needy friend or relative. While these changes may seem radical, in the
end many people find them freeing.
Find Your Bliss
Through my work, I have met countless women who do not know what they want,
need or desire. They have spent a majority their lives "taking care" of someone
else. When asked what they want, many of them just don't know. They have
never taken the time to ask themselves these important questions. They were not
taught to take care of themselves, or were taught that their needs and desires
are just not as important as everyone else's. It is not part of our society.
So how do you figure out your needs and desires? I have found journaling to
be an excellent way to clarify your thoughts, needs and desires. Journaling
gives you the opportunity to sort out your feelings from the feelings of those
around you. It gives you the opportunity to figure out who you really are.
Journaling is an easy technique to master. Buy yourself a blank writing book,
staple together some scrap paper or sit in front of your computer, taking a
few minutes each day to write to yourself. As yourself questions like: What do
I want? What do I need? What kinds of things make me happy? Where am I going
in my life? Where do I want to go? As you start to explore some of these
questions, take the time to listen to your answers. Be honest with yourself. What is
the point of lying? You would only be deceiving yourself.
Once you have completed this stage, give yourself permission to have what you
want, and then get it or work toward it. Create goals and work toward them.
Ask your friends and family members for their support and blessings. With each
and every step you take, no matter how large or small, you are creating more
and more balance in your life. Give it a try - you might be surprised.
Have Fun
That's right, just go ahead and do it. You never know, you may enjoy
yourself. Take the time to give to yourself daily.
Giving to yourself, honoring yourself and loving yourself are important. As
you take the time to eat right, exercise, meditate or fulfill your own needs,
you will begin to experience a sense of empowerment, peace and harmony. Each
step that you take will help to bring the scales back into balance.
Did you ever think that a mere 30 minutes a day could give you so much?

Nurturing you inner Guidance
Nurturing your Inner Guidance
by Wendy Kay
reprinted with permission
It's comforting to know that all answers to your life issues can be found
within yourself. You don't need external confirmation of your decisions if you
learn to trust your Inner Guidance. Often however, it is easier and safer to be
influenced by others (society, family or friends) than to trust what you feel
or know to be "true" and "right" for you. You must keep in mind that what
society, family or friends feel is best for you and your life path might not be
best for you at all.
Your Inner Guidance originates from Spirit. It is composed of the same senses
that exist in the Material or Physical World. The five senses you experience
in Physical correlate directly to the senses in Spirit in the following
manner:
Sight is the ability to see things that exist in Physical.
Clairvoyance is the ability to see things that exist in Spirit.
Hearing is the ability to hear sounds in Physical.
Clairaudience is the ability to hear vibrations and thoughts in Spirit.
Touch is the ability to feel or touch things that exist in Physical.
Clairsentience is the ability to feel energies in Spirit.
Taste is the ability to take food/items into the mouth to determine which
tastes are good for you or bring you pleasure (sweet, sour, salty, bitter).
Intuition is the ability to take in and evaluate the energy in Spirit to
determine what is good for you.
Scent is the ability to smell aromas or scents in Physical.
Scent is also the ability to smell aromas or scents in Spirit.
Normally, the senses of Spirit are lumped together and called ESP or
Extrasensory Perception. However, in reality there are at least five different "Inner
Guidance Skills" hard at work, giving you information about your life path
from an entirely different perspective - a higher perspective. Each of those
Inner Guidance Skills exists within each and every one of us. It is only your
level of awareness and understanding that prevents you from using your abilities
more often in your life. One of your senses might be stronger than another one.
In the same way that your hearing may be impaired in Physical, it may be
impaired in Spirit. Your abilities depend on what you are in Physical to do (i.e.
your life's purpose).
Why is it that so many choose to ignore or suppress the messages of Spirit?
One reason might be that Inner Guidance is not logical, and these skills cannot
be scientifically explained. In Physical, it is easier to accept what is
logical or "right in front of your eyes" than to trust a feeling, a vision, or a
voice that comes from Spirit. Another reason why you might ignore or suppress
your Inner Guidance is that there is a certain amount of fear associated with
delving into new ideas or concepts. The fear level is different for each
person. Any new experience can make you afraid, but once you repeat the experience
many times, the fear disappears. It's a good idea to remember this as you
nurture your abilities.
Instead of suppressing or ignoring your Inner Guidance, you should be trying
to develop these skills. We need to nurture these sensitivities and understand
how to take care of them just as we take care of our physical selves. In the
same way that you feed your physical body, experience positive activity and
rest your physical body, you must feed, experience positive activity and rest
your spiritual self.
Feeding, experiencing positive activity and resting the spiritual body are a
bit different from what you do to maintain your physical body. When you feed
your physical body, you take food into your body, which gives you nourishment.
Feeding your spiritual body is done through personal growth (life challenges)
and helping people. Practicing positive activity (exercise, pleasant hobbies,
socializing, etc.) is pleasurable. Positive activity in Spirit is done through
building a relationship with that particular reality which includes trusting
what you feel or know to be true (your intuition). You rest your physical body
through sleep or doing something where you don't need to think and can
relieve yourself from the pressures of day-to-day living. In Spirit, you meditate to
refresh the spiritual self.
When you can merge your Inner Guidance with your physical self, you will
attain a state of inner peace. You will live your life based on what you are
supposed to do as opposed to doing what others think is right for you.
It's time for you to start nurturing your Inner Guidance so you can achieve
this desired state. Nurturing your Inner Guidance is the beginning of the
beginning for your spiritual self. Although this path can be challenging at times,
it is the next step in the development of mankind.

Angel Therapy to Lift Your Spirit
by Doreen Virtue, PhD.
Your guardian angels and other members of the angelic realm are happy to help
release you from the effects of negative and fearful thinking. After all, the
angels’ purpose is to bring our consciousness to the realization of God’s
love. So, it is their great pleasure to help us clear away the residue of
anything that blocks our awareness of love.
You always have angels around you, nonstop and guaranteed. Despite anything
you’ve ever said, thought, or done, the angels love you unconditionally. There
are no exceptions to this, and as you read this paragraph, your angels are by
your side, right now.
Here are some powerful ways to work with the angels in clearing away the
effects of fear:
Angel Buckets
This is a wonderful meditation to use any time you feel worried about some
life challenge. Begin by taking a deep breath.
In your mind’s eye, visualize angels placing a large bucket in front of you.
The angels stand beside the bucket and they ask you to put anything that is
bothering you inside the bucket.
See and feel yourself placing any worries you may have about money, career,
home, or possessions into the bucket. Next, put any concerns you have about
your body or health into the bucket. Then, place any conflicts you’ve had with
anyone into the bucket. Follow this with any feelings of hurt you have had in
any relationship.
Next, put any guilt or self-recrimination into the bucket. Put it all in.
Then, place any fears you may have about your goals into the bucket. Put any fear
of failure, or of success, into the bucket. Place any fears that you are an “
unqualified imposter†into the bucket. Follow this with any fears you may have
about the future. Take any hurt feelings or anger you may have toward members
of organized religion into the bucket. Next, place any resistances you may
feel toward God into the bucket.
If there’s anything else bothering you, please place it into the bucket now.
Hold nothing back. Put it all into the bucket, now. Notice how light your soul
and body feels.
Watch as the angels smile at you, as they fly away carrying the bucket. They
take all of your worries to the Divine source of all creativity and infinite
intelligence. Here all of your challenges are worked out perfectly. Everything
is resolved in a win-win manner, and you receive perfect solutions easily and
harmoniously. We give thanks to God and the angels for this help. We accept
their help now, knowing that we deserve it. We also know that as we heal
ourselves, so do we heal the world.
About Etheric Cords
The chakras often have “etheric cords†protruding from them. These cords,
which look like surgical tubing, extend to chakras in other people with whom we’
ve had relationships.
Etheric cords most commonly extend to our siblings, followed by (in
descending order of what is most commonly found) our father, mother, ex-spouse,
ex-lovers, current spouse or lover, our house, children, and close friends.
Fear within our relationships forms these cords. The fear may be
characterized as co-dependency, attachments, fear of abandonment, or unforgiveness.
Etheric cords act like hoses, with energy directed back and forth between both
people. Therein lies the problem with having them.
If the person to whom you are attached is having a life challenge, that
person will syphon energy from you. He or she will draw upon your energy supply
through the etheric cord. You will then feel drained, without knowing why.
Very often, the people you have had sexual relationships with are attached to
your sacral chakra. The people with whom you’ve experienced conflict are
attached to your solar plexus. Those who you grieve over are attached to your
heart chakra.
Those with whom you’ve had painful relationships, or relationships where you
carried all the weight, are attached to your shoulders. This is, in my
experience, the root cause of shoulder and neck pain.
A female client of mine complained of having multiple life challenges in her
finances, health, and love life. I immediately saw that she had many large
etheric cords extending from her back and shoulders. I discerned that the cords
were attached to her deceased father, with whom she’d had a contentious
relationship.
I asked her to be willing to forgive her father, as we cut the cords.
Simultaneously, I asked her father to be willing to forgive himself, since he was
remorseful about his past relationship with his daughter. When both people were
completely willing to forgive, the cords parted. My client reported immediate
improvements in all areas of her life immediately following our session.
When we are attached to our home or geographical locations, etheric cords
extend from the bottom of our feet into the ground. I recently worked with a
client who said that she wanted to move. However, she complained that her house
wasn’t selling. I saw that she had many etheric cords extending from the bottom
of her feet into the house’s foundation. I explained to my client that her
attachment to the home was preventing its sale. With her permission, we cut the
cords. Two days later, her house sold at the full asking price.
Cutting cords doesn’t mean, “I don’t love you or care about you anymore.â€
Cord cutting doesn’t necessarily lead to break-ups or abandoned relationships.
It simply means that you are releasing the dysfunctional parts of your
relationships. Remember, fear is the opposite of love, and etheric cords (and all
attachments) are created from fear.
Some people worry that they may cut cords to their own soul fragments, the
parts of themselves that splintered off during traumatic episodes. This is
unlikely to occur; however, you can avoid it entirely by holding the intention of
only cutting the cords which block you from feeling full joy and energy. Your
soul fragment cords will remain uncut by holding this intention.
Or, you can call back your soul fragments and reintegrate yourself by
visualizing a shower of white light encircling your body. Mentally ask that all
pieces of yourself be completely reunited with your true self. You may see little “
you’s†bounding toward you, like little beings on rubber bands bunge jumping
in your direction. These little soul fragments will be completely healed of
all residuals of fear or trauma as they re-enter you through the white light
shower.
Cutting Etheric Cords
The fastest and simplest way to cut etheric cords is to mentally call
Archangel Michael to come to your side and clear away all cords that are draining
you. If you are unfamiliar with Archangel Michael, he is an angel who acts as a “
manager†of other angels. His primary role is to clear away all dark energy.
You can ask Archangel Michael to come to your side anytime. You can even ask
him to live with you permanently. He has the ability (as does everyone, in
truth) to be with everyone simultaneously.
You will notice an immediate increase in energy and peacefulness when you ask
Michael to cut your cords. The next time you feel lethargic, skip the _mocha
latte and call upon the angels instead. They will return you to your natural
state of peaceful energy right away
Spirit Guides
Spirit Guides
Our spirit helpers, those that guide & advise us
Introduction
There are many schools of thought on Angels, some of which we hope
to cover later, but for now lets concern ourselves with spirit
guides. A spirit guide is a spirit person who works closely with a
medium. He/she has a variety of jobs, but their main concern is to
teach the medium spiritual truth. They can be looked upon as
helpers, guiding and advising the medium about clairvoyance,
healing, and other spiritual skills.
Who are they?
A guide could be anybody, but often they have lived on earth many
centuries ago. Because of the time spent in spirit, they have become
highly developed in spiritual ways. They choose to remain close to
the earth life, and act as a link and teacher. Many mediums will
often tell of their guide as being a Red Indian or from some other
exotic race. The reason is simply that Red Indians for example,
lived a very spiritual existence, and also believed in their own
psychic skills. Based on these backgrounds, they are ideally suited
to spiritual work. But it is not always the case, the level of
spirituality dictates if they able to take on the work, not the
background. A guide could also be, as some mediums report, someone
they knew in a previous life, or indeed a family member. Whoever the
guide is, and from whatever background, the medium will have some
form of affinity with them. It is this familiarity that bonds them
and allows them to work closely together.
One guide for one medium?
For some, yes. But often a guide will be with a medium for a
particular part of their life, or to teach certain things. It may
also be that a medium has more than one guide, each assisting with
various tasks that the medium performs. For example they may have
guide that assists them with healing. For some mediums, they meet
their guides very early on in their lives and that guide will stay
with them until the end of their earth life. It could be that many
people meet their guide in development circles, where they learn to
know and trust them. Guides present themselves as people, and even
have a sense of humour.
Guardians & spirit helpers
Mediums also have a guardian, this spirit person could be likened to
a doorkeeper, he is their to protect the medium and generally keep
things in order. He can be called upon to sort things out if the
medium becomes overworked or confused. Unlike the guide, the
guardian is not a teacher but rather an onlooker with the mediums
interest in mind.
There are other spirit helpers who may be known or unknown, who will
aid you at certain times although it may not always be obvious to
you. But if you listen to your 'gut feeling' or recognise an idea or
new thought, you may have been listening to your guide or helpers!
The purpose of spirit guides
The guide acts a link between the medium and the world of spirit. He
assists the medium to form a better contact with those who wish to
communicate and aids less experienced communicators to get their
message across. He will teach the medium how to attune to the spirit
world and is both a friend and advisor. Another important role of
the guide is in trance communication. Some guides have spoken
through their medium, as in the case of Silver Birch. But the guide
will also assist when another spirit person wishes to speak through
the medium.
But a guide does not control or run the life of the medium, he / she
retains their free will. A guide cannot force a medium to do what
they don't want to and in no way dominates him / her. Nor can
working with a guide free you from responsibility or making the
wrong decisions in your life. But they will help where they can to
lead the medium in the right direction, although ultimately the
decision still lies with the medium themselves. A guide and medium
will be in partnership, they both have the desire to be of service
and let others know their loved ones have survived into a new world.
Do we all have a guide?
Wherever our life has led us, we all have a guide, although these
may be referred to as Guardian Angels. These Angels will watch over
us and try to steer us in the right direction. Perhaps you have had
that `gut feeling` that made you do something or not do something,
often that is your Guardian Angel lending a hand. It is still up to
you to follow or reject those feelings. Many of us will go through
life totally unaware of these spirit helpers, often only being to
able to listen when tragedy strikes.
As our spirituality increases, for whatever reason, we tend to
attract spirit helpers around us. We may be told by a medium who
they are, often this is a general description. But it is when we
begin to develop our own psychic skills that we truly become aware
of our guides.
Well known Spirit Guides;
Silver Birch:
Guides can do more then just aid a medium in his clairvoyant work,
they can also be teachers. The much loved and respected guide Silver
Birch did this by speaking through the medium Maurice Barbanell.
Maurice would go into trance to allow Silver Birch to address those
in his circle. The words imparted by this wise and experienced guide
has served many a medium an understanding of the spirit world and
have been published in a number of books.
Here is an extract from Silver Birch's teachings;
" If you help only one soul to find itself, if you comfort only one
mourner, if you heal only one sick person, then the whole of your
earthly life is justified. How privileged you are to be aware of the
tremendous power that is around and about you, that enfolds you,
guards you, directs you and ensures that you will continue to unfold
your latent divinity and the gifts which are your cherished
possession."
Try it for yourself..
I often get asked how people can get to know their own spirit guide,
so here are a few suggestions that might help you.
Meditation
Begin with a prayer asking for protection and guidance. Then get
yourself comfortable, if you prefer, set some gentle music playing
in the background, aromatherapy candles can also help you relax,
just be sure to choose those that calm and soothe not those that
invigorate. Take some deep slow breaths, and calm your whole body,
until you feel relaxed. Try to slow down, becoming so relaxed that
your heartbeat seems to slow down, withdraw into yourself a little
yet be aware. You can't always eliminate normal noises such as
traffic or people, but each you try this they will recede further
away.
Next imagine a brilliant white light, for me this is in front and
slightly to the left, but it can be anywhere, above, below, left or
right. Look at this light as it gets brighter, see and feel how pure
it is. Now start to draw the light towards you, bring it in towards
your heart. Feel it enter and become one with you as it fills your
entire being. Feel it's purity and divine brilliance as it touches
you from head to foot, sense how vibrant and living it is, it is
more than light, more than purity - it's a living energy.
Now create a place to meet and talk with your guide, this could be a
beautiful garden, a summer field, a hillside - anywhere. Try to use
the same place each time, so it becomes familiar to you. Ask for
your guide to join you here. The act of asking him/her to join you
keeps you in control.
Don't expect some disembodied voice to suddenly start speaking out
of thin air! It doesn't happen, rather, spirit will speak to you in
thought, in images and feelings. It's more a case of somehow knowing
what is meant, understanding comes from feeling the answers travel
through you. In the same way don't force the information, but let it
come to you.
Notes:
The idea of spirit guides is not limited to the work of mediums or
Spiritualists in general, but can be found in many cultures and
beliefs. For example the peoples of Amazonian South America believed
in ' Spirit Helpers '. These 'helpers' were typically the spirits of
their ancestors or animals such as the eagle and jaguar.
Shaman
You may also come across the term Shaman, and while Shamanism is a
belief beyond the scope of this website, it's worth knowing the
background.
To become a Shaman you had to be 'called' to the service, often
there were initiations and suffering. A ceremony which involved
symbolic death and resurrection, endowed the new Shaman with a new
existence, forever changing him. During the initiation the new
Shaman would meet and converse with spirits, learn how to go into
trance, astral travel and be taught which spirits he could call upon
in the future. Those who did not attain the full range of Shaman
powers became 'medicine men'. Regarding their work, these peoples
believed illness was the result of evil spirits entering inside
people. They performed an elaborate ceremony to call out the evil
spirits. Only the Shaman have the power to communicate with the
spirit domain, acting much like our mediums do, as an mediator and
message giver. Shaman were major figures for a tribe, often taking
on many roles; teachers, poets, healers, story tellers and other
functions.
How to find a spirit guide today- How to Find a Spirit Guide Today
by Noel Ferry
Most people expect a spirit guide to whisper in their ear and say, "Hi,
I'm Charlie. I'm going to be your guide. I'm especially knowledgeable
about relationships. What can I do for you?"
Nope. It doesn't happen that way. What I'm going to describe here is a
simple way that you can find a guide and begin working together. But
before I give you specific instructions, I want to discuss exactly what
these guides are... and aren't.
They aren't an all knowing infallible being. Think of them like regular
people. That is, when you first meet them you get a first impression. You
find out what their field of knowledge is and you get to know them. Like
people, they have moods. Sometimes they're very talkative other times
they're quieter, just answering your questions with short answers.
You'll communicate with them via writing. You'll write to them and they'll
write back. You can do this mentally, but it gets too confusing. Who is
who and all that. This technique is an effective therapy for almost any
kind of problem you might have. It's easy to do and not dangerous.
You're not evoking spirits from the ether. There's no incantations or
spells. No danger of being possessed.
You probably have some guides already and just need the technique to
communicate with them. Once you get comfortable with these basic guides
then I'll show you how to go out and recruit new guides who can teach you
new skills. For instance if you're trying to learn French, you could find
a French guide who could help you learn the language. If you're trying to
be a writer, like I am, you could recruit a guide to help you learn to
write, or help you market your writing. What ever you want to learn,
there's a guide to help you. And if you don't like the guide you're using,
you can drop them and get another. Again their like people. If you meet
someone you like --- someone who is helpful, you'll continue to meet with
them. If you don't like them, don't talk to them and they'll go away. More
or less. The guides that are already a part of you -- the ones that have
been looking after you for most of your life -- these are more difficult
to
get ride of than say that French teacher you meet just last week.
This is a great technique! I recently recruited a new spirit guide myself,
to help me improve my trading, and I'm very pleased to report under her
tutelage, I've made some starting discoveries. That's what it's about.
Progress. Remember, it's it's not practical. It it does not add value or
meaning to your life then get ride of it.
We don't want techniques that take a long time to perfect. We want simple
techniques. Techniques that can be put into action immediately. We need to
see immediate benefits. And if the technique can't be employed immediately
for some reason, it should be simple enough to remember, so that someday
off in the future, when the situation presents itself -- if you find
yourself in dire need, you'll remember the technique, and say, "Hey. Now's
the time for me try that now."
During the course of our conversations, I'm going to be teaching you a LOT
Food as Medicine
HEADACHE? EAT FISH!
Eat plenty of fish -- fish oil helps prevent headaches.
So does ginger, which reduces inflammation and pain.
HAY FEVER? EAT YOGURT!
Eat lots of yogurt before pollen season.
Also-eat honey from your area (local region) daily.
TO PREVENT STROKE DRINK TEA!
Prevent buildup of fatty deposits on artery walls with regular doses of tea.
(actually, tea suppresses my appetite and keeps the pounds from
invading.... Green tea is great for our immune system)!
INSOMNIA (CAN'T SLEEP?) HONEY!
Use honey as a tranquilizer and sedative.
ASTHMA? EAT ONIONS!!!!
Eating onions helps ease constriction of bronchial tubes.
(when I was young, my mother would make onion packs
to place on our chest, helped the respiratory ailments
and actually made us breathe better).
ARTHRITIS? EAT FISH, TOO!!
Salmon, tuna, mackerel and sardines actually prevent arthritis.
(fish has omega oils, good for our immune system)
UPSET STOMACH? BANANAS - GINGER!!!!!
Bananas will settle an upset stomach.
Ginger will cure morning sickness and nausea.
BLADDER INFECTION? DRINK CRANBERRY JUICE!!!!
High-acid cranberry juice controls harmful bacteria.
BONE PROBLEMS? EAT PINEAPPLE!!!
